SEDE, a sustainably committed professional

Engagement écologique de SEDE France – SEDE Environnement

Respect for the environment and the preservation of natural resources are factors in the development of innovation and competitiveness.

SEDE is committed to the circular economy by developing recycled fertiliser channels, substituting fossil resources. We are therefore committed to reducing the impact of our activities and our consumption of natural resources.

Preservation of the environment

SEDE's commitment to ecology revolves around 5 main themes :

1 - Integrating the environment

Into the management system via several sets of certified procedures (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, MASE, etc.).

2 - Reducing the pollution of natural environments

From design (impact studies, taking into account natural areas) to equipment at treatment sites.

3 - Being aware of your carbon intensity

By calculating the carbon balances of the treatment sites, along with SEDE’s carbon balance every 3 years, with a definition of objectives over 10 years (method validated by ADEME).

4 - Optimising transportation

Through collaboration with local carriers, implementation of cargo return and development of alternative means of transport (e.g.: river transport).

5 - Contributing to the overall quality of life

With various site landscaping activities, the installation of electronic noses at processing sites, etc.

Social equity within the group

The well-being, health and safety of SEDE's employees contribute to social equity.

The integration of employees, their involvement in the life of the company and skill development foster a spirit of solidarity and willingness to cooperate.

Governance and territorial integration

SEDE is committed to developing involvement and consultation with the stakeholders and interested parties, in order to better understand their expectations and proposals.

Mastering techniques and promoting innovation

Through a Research and Development (R&D) department whose main challenges are to manage and preserve resources, limit environmental impact, develop alternative energies, etc.

Understand and respond effectively to needs

Thanks to our recognised expertise, by disseminating innovations, by being organised regionally to improve our responsiveness and finally, through an annual evaluation of customer satisfaction.

Having a partnership vision

SEDE is involved in long-term partnerships with communities and industry.

We then set objectives for optimising economic parameters and limiting environmental impacts, through multi-outlet and multi-site offers.
